Hortifeeds had a highly successful day at the recent Fruit Focus tradeshow in Kent.
The team were kept very busy talking to new and existing customers about their extensive range of fertilisers and biostimulants, and offering advice on how to improve both yield and quality of fruit crops.
Hortifeeds had the honour to be one of only six exhibitors chosen to participate in the BASIS ‘Knowledge Trail’ allowing visitors to collect valuable CPD points if they could answer some challenging questions on plant nutrition and fertigation of soft fruit. The team were on hand to discuss the questions with participants, and many said they found it both a useful and informative exercise.
Plant Impact were important guests at the Hortifeeds stand, discussing the benefits of the patented CaT calcium mobility technology in their product Amētros™ with visitors. Amētros™ has consistently been shown to improve Class 1 yield, fruit quality and shelf life in a wide range of fruit crops. Hortifeeds are the sole distributors of Amētros™ to the fruit industry.
With some intense hot weather in June, the stress relief properties of HortiBoost were a frequent discussion point. HortiBoost, is the ‘complete biostimulant’ combining multiple stress relieving ingredients such as seaweed, amino acids, and humic acid complex. HortiBoost can be used as a ‘pill sweetener’ in tank mixes with routine pesticide spray programmes, providing improved stress tolerance and stress relief in a convenient and cost-effective regular application.
