Hortifeeds is pleased to welcome Jonathan Garratt, who has joined our team as Regional Sales Manager for the East of England.
Jonathan is genuinely passionate about working within the horticultural industry, which has been his career focus since college. After studying horticulture at Reading University, where he achieved his BSc, Jonathan worked for 7 years at Syngenta primarily in research and trials roles, before spending 3 years as Project Biologist for the Solutions Innovation team. Following this, his role as Technical Manager at Darby Nursery Stock Ltd, saw him growing a range of ornamental plants on a commercial scale, with all the attention to detail and business focus that this requires.
Jonathan brings hands on grower and technical experience to the team. His knowledge and expertise, combined with an enthusiastic approach to this industry, leaves us in no doubt that he will provide our customers with the highest level of personal and technical service.
Jonathan says “I am thrilled to be joining the Hortifeeds team. As a grower I was a Hortifeeds customer, therefore I believe in the high quality products and support we offer. I am looking forward to getting out and meeting different growers, seeing the challenges they face and helping to tackle them.”
