HortiKelp is a concentrated liquid seaweed extract used to increase crop health, yield and quality, principally derived from Ascophyllum nodosum.
As a biofertiliser, HortiKelp is a balanced source of macronutrients, trace elements and organic carbon.
As a biostimulant, HortiKelp promotes physiological responses which exceed those explained by chemical nutritional analysis alone.
HortiKelp is approved for use in organic cultivation by the Organic Farmers and Growers Association.
Unique Attributes:
- Carries 30% suspended solids and the highest level or bioactives on the market.
- Has the highest levels of plant hormones such as Auxins, Gibberellins and Cytokinins.
- It’s extraction methods don’t involve any chemical solvents.
- The mildly acidic pH formulation means HortiKelp is less likely to precipitate when mixed with soluble fertilisers.

Application Rate
Fertigation systems
For constant feeding: apply HortiKelp at 0.025ml/litre of fertigation.
For application via a dilutor, make a stock solution of 250 ml HortiKelp per 100 litres of water. Dilute the stock at 1:100 (1%) to produce 10,000 litres of fertigation solution.
For periodic feeding and during heavy cropping: apply HortiKelp at 0.05 to 0.3ml/litre of fertigation.
For application via a dilutor, make a stock solution of 0.5 to 3 litres of HortiKelp per 100 litres of stock. Dilute the stock at 1:100 (1%) to produce 10,000 litres of fertigation solution.
Foliar spray
Apply at 0.5 to 1 litre HortiKelp / ha in 200 to 600 litres of water. For small areas via knapsack sprayer, dilute at 1.5 to 2ml/litre and apply to run-off. Apply from planting to first fruit set at 2 to 3 weeks intervals during the season, or when strong vegetative growth is desired.
